Our Goals

1. Increase awareness of HIV/AIDS in the immigrant population
2. Coordinate Annual Health Summit
3. Provide immigration services to African and other immigrants
4. Create a Give-Back Annual Initiative where one specific act of charity is directed to the benefit of one country in Africa per year
5. Develop a broader-based Board to include talent necessary to guide and implement African Hope Comittee’s initiatives
6. Create an internship program in partnership with two New York City colleges
7. Create a Family Empowerment Center
8. Create a coalition with other organizations serving immigrant New York City populations.

Mission Statement

• The mission of the African Hope Committee, Inc. is to serve and improve the overall welfare of the African immigrant community to facilitate greater assimilation and self-sufficiency.

Vision

• The vision of the African Hope Committee, Inc. is to provide health education, immigration services and the empowering of African and other immigrant population in New York City.
